Evaluation of the Impact of Town and Country Planning on the Land Price in Milínov

In this dipoma is priced selected lend and administrative costs by pricing regulation and market price, which is performed by a professional estimate using the comparsion (comparative) method. A case study is considered prices of land in connection with changes in the landscape plan and implementation strategy for rural development. It was also evaluated the degree to which the emergence of zoning and development of services and facilities in rural areas affects the amount of land prices.
Obnovení volnočasových stezek v Mikroregionu Porta ve zvolených obcích

The bachelor thesis deals with redesigning waymarked trails in four selected municipalities within the Porta Microregion. In the thesis, the author focuses on the close collaboration with the mayors and the council, which is instrumental in achieving the objective of the thesis, precisely the design and revision of waymarked trails in the selected municipalities. The theoretical part explains the definitions of terms such as tourism, rural tourism, rural development, leisure activities for the locals and topics related to this topic. The analytical part of the thesis includes mapping of routes, inventory and creation or renewal of panel contents, and quantifying financial requirements. The final part of the project outlines to the municipalities a trail concept targeted primarily at families with children.
Gender differences in the creation of social capital of territorial communities in the district Tábor

The presented work deals with the topic of gender differences in the creation of social capital of territorial communities in the Tábor district. The main goal of the research is the analysis and evaluation of the process of social capital formation with a focus on gender differences among actors of the local political elite in the Tábor district. The assumption of differences during the formation of social capital of actors from the perspective of gender is based on a review and discussion of general starting points. The main concepts addressed in the first part of the work are the concept of gender itself and its formation during life, the related gender stereotypes in society, social capital and its formation, forms, or measurement. Last but not least, the work deals with the discussion of women's political participation in the Czechia. In the empirical part of the work, I will first focus on achieving the partial goal of the work, namely the analysis and evaluation of women's representation in municipal politics in the Tábor district, emphasizing the explanation of conditions that are crucial for women's entry into municipal politics. This diploma thesis deals with local governance support of chosen regions of Czech Republic through local action groups. For this diploma thesis the chosen regions are Jihočeský, Karlovarský, Liberecký, Plzeňský and Ústecký region. The goal of the thesis was to investigate if there is any kind of regional support of local action groups and if so, observe the type of support and the intensity. The thesis describes the support of local action groups based on public information and documents of the regions and most importantly based on results of semi-structured interviews with regional office representatives. The most significant differences are in the total amount of regional support of local action groups and the way the local action groups activities and support information is provided via information channels. In the final part of the thesis the optimal model of support which is based on author’s personal findings and opinions is proposed.
Application of Integrated Tools in the Development of Rural Areas

The bachelor thesis is focused on the use of the integrated tool Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) in the programming period 2014-2020. The main goal of this thesis was to define the factors and conditions that can affect the use of this tool in practice both negatively and positively. The theoretical part of the thesis first dealt with the topic of territorial cohesion and then focused on the development of integrated approaches and tools not only in the European Union, but in the Czech Republic as well. Territorial cohesion is one of the tools used to meet the objectives of the European Union. The practical part of the work describes in detail the integrated tool CLLD and its implementation in the drawing of resources from European funds. For research and subsequent description of the implementation of the CLLD tool, available documents and data were obtained in the form of researches, especially from the website of the umbrella organization of CLLD holders (National Network of Local Action Groups), its annual reports; as well as from the website of the Ministry of Regional Development and their professional sites, which are specifically focused on European funds. This is followed by an analysis of the use of CLLD by the two holders of this tool - m LAG Moravský kras and LAG Hrušovansko. The data available on the websites of both LAGs were used to determine the specific use, in particular the document Community-led Local Development Strategy and the evaluation report on the implementation of the CLLD.
Sustainability in Rural Development and Human Resources

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the impact of human resources and culture of their society in chosen municipality in connection with sustainability and proposing changes to improve the current situation. The theoretical part presents basic concepts related to the given issue. There are mainly characterized concepts related to sustainability, rural development, human resources and, last but not least, culture. The practical part deals with research itself of the current situation in a particular municipality. Information was obtained from primary sources, which includes particularly questionnaire surveys, own observation and interviews, as well as from secondary sources, where electronic sources and literature dealing with the municipality may be included. After processing and evaluating of all data and information, proposals were made that could be implemented by the municipal board in the future, which could lead to sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the municipality.
Human Resources in Rural Development

The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the state and influence of human resources and their culture in a selected municipality in connection with rural development and to propose changes leading to the improvement of the current state. The theoretical part contains basic knowledge about rural development, human resources or culture. The practical part analyses the state of human resources and their culture in a selected municipality using quantitative (Questionnaire for local residents and VSM questionnaire) and qualitative research (Colour semantic differential test, non-standardized interviews and personal observations). Finally, there are proposals for changes to improve the current state of the municipality.
Selected Local Action Groups in Pilsen Region as an Rural Development Actors

The bachelor thesis deals with two Local Action Groups operating in the Pilsen region. It defines general terms related to Local Action Groups and explains the system of functioning of these groups, which are an integral part of rural development. For a chosen groups there are created a characteristics, which are supplemented with SWOT analysis and Paired Comparison Analysis. Further, it focuses on a project activity analysis of this selected Local Action Groups, especially in programming period 2014-2020. The aim is to compare two Local Action Groups and find out what the differences are between them, then evaluate their contribution for rural areas.
Evaluation of Local Action Groups' Activity

The thesis deals with action of local action groups (LAGs) in the Czech Republic at the beginning of the new programming period. During the last seven years, LAGs proved to be an ideal cooperation platform of local actors, which leads to the integrated development of its home territory. The aim of this work is to evaluate the activity of LAGs, with an emphasis on the process of social networking, sectors cooperation at the local level, promote economic activities LAGs and ensure their operation. Analysis of the functioning of LAGs was based on guided interviews with LAG managers or LAG directors, and representatives of rural development institutions. Selection of interviewed LAG representatives was based on the LAGs evaluation from 2010, 2011 and 2012. Results of guided interviews with LAGs' representatives and experts served to define the barriers that currently impede the development of rural areas through the LEADER method and community planning. Furthermore, the results of field research confirmed that LAGs activity supports the development of social networks in its home territory and breaking down barriers between public, private and non-profit sectors.
Exploring structural changes of employment in rural Czechia: territorial approach

The thesis searches for driving forces behind structural changes of rural employment in the example of Czechia subject to changing rural paradigm and the related question of rural economic viability represented by the employment performance. The research elaborates on the territorial approaches which categorises regions according to their degree of rurality. In addition, the detailed classification is made according to the change of non-agricultural employment in the period 2001-2011 in order to identify dynamic regions which showed performance above national average (leading) and those which lacked behind (lagging). The observations prompt the question why is the performance differentiated. Therefore, the regionally differentiated impact of processes such as deagriculturisation, deindustrialisation and tertiarisation in the period 2001-2011 is analysed by the use of analysis of components (namely shift-share analysis) and multivariate analysis (namely factor and cluster analysis). The thesis aims to provide answers in particular by giving a thorough analysis of how the changing rural paradigm (and regional theories in wider context) conceptualise the driving forces behind employment development in rural areas.
